It is very easy to reach 18000 or even 23000 steps on a normal day here without any special planning. You walk between sights explore neighborhoods stop for coffee and continue in the evening. The city layout with its wide sidewalks and pedestrian zones makes movement feel effortless and the beautiful surroundings help you forget how much distance you covered.
Even in the evening the streets keep a pleasant activity. People are out walking in the city center or along the illuminated paths in the parks. Areas around Naschmarkt or the canal stay lively with locals enjoying the cooler air. It never gets too hectic but the gentle movement continues late into the night.
